Dear esteemed colleagues

It gives me a great pleasure to announce that the 2nd Arthroplasty Society in Asia (ASIA) will be held in Seoul, Korea from 6th-8th November, 2014.

The ASIA was founded in 2013 with the aim of sharing up-to-date knowledge and experiences, enhancing surgical expertise, and education for young surgeons in Asia.

It was a great success with 42 invited speakers and 70 outstanding abstract submission last year in Beijing. And we are facing the 2nd gathering in Seoul. The society will be the premier academic organization to concentrate on the most important aspects of the regional orthopedic issues in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty surgeries and technologies under the slogan of “ASIA for Asia”.

Also, it is planned to provide both opportunities – scientific exchange and strong networking for the participating surgeons. ASIA will provide a platform of education for young trainees.

And Good News!!! We will be graced with outstanding international guest speakers in collaboration with the “AO Reconstruction”.

Early November in Korea is the best time to enjoy sightseeing across the tourist attractions of Korea. The organizers have been doing their best to make the meeting enjoyable and memorable. I certainly believe that the ASIA 2014 merits your interest and attention.

I look forward to meeting all of you in Seoul.
